We had a lovely stable door and 3 windows made and fitted last month by GK Joinery.The customer service was exemplary from start to finish and we couldn’t be more pleased with the end result.Being able to visit the workshop and view the products and discuss our options with the lovely Laura was a big plus.We appreciated the care that was taken by John at the site visit to advise and match to our existing windows.The installation was done with care and consideration. Our fitter Dave and his colleague Rich were professional and courteous and worked quietly and efficiently. They were able to work around our summer garden plants and I was delighted that the climbing rose around our kitchen window was unscathed thanks to the care they took. A large bush which I had expected to have to cut back under a second window was able to be preserved as they built a small platform over it to protect it.Any questions along the way were answered quickly either by email or telephone. Laura in accounts was efficient and responsive. I particularly appreciated the reassurance that any deposit paid is held in a separate dedicated account.We look forward to working with this fabulous company again, as and when our other windows need replacing. Highly recommended.

We have now used GK Joinery on several projects and cannot fault them. They did what they said they would do and at the time they said they would do it. They offer their services in a modest yet quietly confident, reassuring way and have a "can do" attitude which is refreshing because, while there is pretty much a solution for every problem, finding someone who will accept the challenge of awkward problems can be difficult. The workmanship is excellent and the windows and doors they made for us look superb because they are.This is a family owned and run business and their customers matter to them and this shows.Having dealt with John, the MD, for a while now it comes across that he is an honourable man and cares about his customers, his staff and the product and service he offers down to the drawings and specs agreed upon.Installation has been excellent, professional, neat and tidy.The company is experienced in working with listed buildings, their owners and Conservation Officers and the quality of workmanship, design and installation really compliments these historic buildings. This is the third time I have used GK Joinery and their work is exemplary. The first two occasions were for replacement windows and this time for a 'stable door' and a 'garage door'.The folding garage door was designed by GK for an awkward size and space.
